Re: Didn't know I lived in the artic circle...

Topped out at about 78 degrees today, pretty sunny, a little windy.

Too bad I had to work.

Wow, 78 degrees. That sure would be nice....

Actual air temperature was -7 when I left for work this morning.

I've been seeing everyday the weather and it's not that extreme as I've seen in this thread, most of the time is around 30ºF but that's too cold to someone that lives in the CARIBBEAN

It is amazing seeing all the stalled vehicles.. both cars and truck big and small. Just too cold. Seems you see most sitting on the side of the Interstates.

The dead bolts at my girls house were frozen this morning...had to bust out the hair dryer! She also had frost built up between all the door gaps! Crazy cold!

Cold here in Cape Coral this morning too. Down to 50° F. LOL! This is why I have taken to spending my winters in SW Florida. Back in Wisconsin it was -25° this morning. That's a 75° difference. My car likes the Florida winters too. This is the dry season in FL so it just needs a QD every day to remain freshly detailed. I'm about to do a full detail this week. Back in WI I'd be huddled up by the fireplace and dreading the white salt film and grunge on my car. Too cold to even find a touchless car wash as the doors would freeze shut. Damn, but I hated WI winters.

Only a couple months of this left guys, hang in there.

It's been chilly here in No. California, mid 20's at night, 50's in the day with no moisture and thick, frozen FOG, icy roads, and.....16 year old going for his license today

but where some of you live, THATS COLD!

Our Mt. Shasta hasn't seen any new snow for ages.....Go figures, we bought a season pass for the kid to snow board and no snow! DOH!

It was -10 this morning here, but the wind has died down, It feels much nicer when you have to walk outside in say, -10 no wind that the -4 yesterday and windy! I think it's supposed to get in the low to mid 30's this weekend, time to break out the suntan lotion and beach towel!

-9 °C = 15.8 °F is about what NJ, USA has been recently, I wiped the snow off my car with my hand, and any water which was left behind froze immediately.. The cars covered in salt and I'm beginning to get upset about it because it isn't really possible to wash it off at this temperature.

The second it hits 33 I'm out there with a hose and some soap.

Now you understand my travel plans. We have warmed up to 14 above with little wind. Can't wait till Wednesday or Thursday when we have the heat wave and it reaches freezing. Must wash truck and put in garage.
