  • Did some bodywork and detail on myself

About this time of the year in 2007, which had been quite hard on me, I decided I would change myself.

I decided to take a year to do the easy stuff : physical transformation. Without changing my diet, I just decided to get back in shape, go to a fitness center and train.

I went from 260 pounds to 182. Shirts size XL to M, waist from 42-44 to 34-36. I never spent so much on clothes ever ! My eyeglasses are now too big. My face is thinner so it looks weird.

My looks and weight have been stable for the last 2 months, so I decided to move on and keep doing "maintenance work" to keep it that way.

Now the hard part begins : change how I am. Change the always depressive, unconfident, fearful, solitary me. I have some reading to do and I have a good friend's support. I'll start with this and see how it goes.

May 2009 be great on you guys.

Nice job on the physical stuff! I went through a job loss and was in a slump that I thought I would never get over. Wake up every morning and do something to make yourself happy. Think positive and never give up. Be confident but not cocky and see how the good feelings will rub off on the people around you. If you are spiritual, say a prayer every day and don't ask for the things you want but for the things you NEED! Best of luck to you and God Bless.

Congratulations. It sounds as if the body work is complete. You should be very proud of yourself. That alone should erase some of the lack of confidence you describe. If you can do that, you can tackle successfully anything. great work. Congratulations!

Congrats my man, actually training/working out was my first love before detailing. And I still do it 4-5 times a week. I went from being skin and bones my sophomore year in High School at a measly 140 lbs to 205 lbs by the end of my senior year. I am now 220 lbs, and pretty satisfied with my body. Played a little college ball as well, so working out and staying in shape was one of the best decisions I ever made. So congrats again, and do everything you can to keep it up.

Congrats bro! That's an awesome transformation. I find working out keeps my energy up and my spirits up.

Again congrats, and keep with it!
