Let's put this thread back on the topic of Detailing Websites and their Iconic Waxes and maybe someone should start a dedicated thread for carbonated soda pop references?

I visit this site and Autopia. MOL is the one which taught me the most about procedures. I'm very satisfied about my results on my car with NXT. However, it didn't last on my winter truck once exposed to those ice melters.
That's when I decided to check around for another LSP. I discovered Autopia, and indeed, when you want longevity, 9 answers out of 10 will be about Collinite 476. The other one will be Zaino.
I bought a can of 476 and was very satisfied with its durability in winter months. However, the truck didn't look as good as when I used NXT on it. I still use 476 during winter. However, all the prep is still Meguiar's based.
I guess you CAN have too much information, to a point where it's getting confusing. However I found what I wanted and kept working.
Come down to the South, Coke is a generic term....even if a place has Pepsi, it's still Coke. Once you get into Illinois, they start saying 'pop'. 'Pop' is a sound, not something you drink. Not sure what you CA folks call it.
I am a HUGE fan of Wild Cherry Pepsi. They give Cherry Coke a good beating on a side-by-side comparison. Otherwise, I go with whatever is on sale.
Waitress: What do you want to drink?
Me: Coke
Waitress: We have Pepsi
Me: That's fine.
I have to agree with you, I call everything coke, no matter what "flavor" it is.
