The problem with Expert Village is that they allow anybody that registers to be able to submit videos. There's another detailer on Expert Village that is better, but still has some questionable methods.

He has tons of his "Expert" video posted!
I don't have a problem with him messing his car up, but it angers me that he calls himself an expert, and gives advice to those that don't know better!

Hey guys i dont mean to sound stupid, but apart from the paint cracking and his strange way of applying the wax and how he cleans it off, what else did he do wrong?

Waxing a car, generally, consists of two steps, "applying the wax" and "cleaning it off." So everything else he did was perfect.

He mistakened "polishing" for buffing off the wax and used too much wax. Also mentioned that wax damages the plastic trim when it justs stains them

sorry, what defines to much wax and what occurs when to much wax is applied???

This thread is OK. Lets just remember that he is a misinformed person and bashing or negativity will not be allowed. Hopefully he will come over to our forum and see that what he is doing isn't the correct thing.

So I think the only things he's right about is not putting wax on plastic and not waxing in the sun.

This thread is now closed as I don't see it adding anything positive to the forum.

                                Thanks for understanding.
