  • How NOT to wax your car

I was laughing so hard watching this YouTube video, "How to Wax a Car," that my wife had to come into the computer room to find out what was so funny.

How many errors can you pick out?

      Good Lord!

      Where do I start?

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

        Is he really serious?
His application rag and the way he squirts the product out of the bottle is hilarious, oh when he just tosses the bottle onto the floor. It's endless.

WOW!! I stopped counting after the first 30 seconds. It was somewhere around minium of 3 mistakes. Think how many people watch that and do that to their car.

Re: How NOT to wax your car

I loved his recommendation to wax in the shade because "wax, for some given reason, if it's to hot, the car will start cracking, the paint ..."

I've seen cars simply crumble into dust after being waxed in the sun--very, very dangerous.

Well I for one am glad to learn that if you wax you car in the sun on a hot day the wax will crack your paint.

Unfortunately, a lot of these "experts" of YouTube don't know what they are doing.

I totally agree. I read some of the comments below his videos and some are pretty bad. He seems like a good guy and I'm sure he means well but...

I'm sure once he learns a few things over here he's going to look back at his videos and realize what he was doing.

I just saw the "How to wash your car". Yikes, not sure how many times he hit his car with the water hose. It's tough not to see his videos and cringe (sp?) I guess Expert Village doesn't edit or do retakes, or maybe they did.
