Re: Optimum No Rinse Wash - Thoughts & Opinions?

I will use ONR this winter for the first time. I mean, I used it before, but only as trials. This winter it's gonna be washed only with this stuff. I never did it on a very salty vehicle, I hope it works alright for this.

So far it's been working great, but I still prefer to use a hose and regular car wash soap in the summer.

Can the same thing be accomplished with Last Touch? Yes.

I've tried it once using the same high dillution ratio and it worked fine (actually better than ONR).
I'm going to try this now, I've never thought of using Last Touch like ONR. Thanks for the suggestion.

How about the Meguiar's Waterless System?

That exact product/system is not available in the U.S.

Anyone interested in a product like this should post a thread bout it here,

A close version of this would be to substitute Last Touch which can be purchased by the gallon.

I really like the idea of using a pump sprayer for the ONR indoors. I'm going to pickup a bottle and test it out.

Might try using it with same high dilution ratio as ONR and see what the results are like. Kind of defeats the concept and name of the product

Folks interested in using a no-rinse product may find of interest the info and videos cited in this article:

I have spent the last two months demolishing and rebuilding the deck at the back of my house. Finally, after waiting several weeks, I finally got the proper weather and temperatures to put sealant on it. My problem is that, although my drive-to-work-beater was parked 50+ feet away AND around...

Last night I finally decided to get myself a bottle of ONR and give it a try this winter. I hope it works as advertised.

This thread caught my attention because San Diego is thinking of restriction water usage. Not sure of the specifics but from what I am hearing they want to give every household an allotment of water based on size and other criteria and for every gallon or w/e they go over, they pay extra and if it gets too out of hand, they get fined amongst stricter penalties.
