Re: Optimum No Rinse Wash - Thoughts & Opinions?
1. Yes.
2. Easy, however, it does take some time to get "use to" the procedure.
3. Yes. If the car is really dirty, I mix up some in a 1 gal. sprayer and pre-spray the vehicle. If the vehicle has lots of MUD on it, I would do a water rinse first and then I might do a "regular washing" method.
4. It leaves a SLICK finish! It's great! No problems for me, with cleaning/polishing the paint after a rinseless wash.
5. Average car uses 2 to 3 gallons of ONR'ed water. If using a two bucket method, your using another 3 gallons for your water only bucket. How often will you be cleaning the cars will answer your question #5 here. Washing the vehicle in the garage: No problem!
ONR tip:
1. If your brake dust is tough to remove, make sure to have some type of APC to help with wheels/tires area.
2. Even if using with a filtered water, always dry the vehicle afterwards. It will leave spotting behind, if it's not removed.
Where I buy it:
Do a look up on google for: "kleen car". Their in New Jersey. So for me, I don't get dinged sales tax and their shipping was fairly priced. The normal time of "ground shipping" from them to me is around 3 to 4 days (I'm in California). A gallon costs around $35 and a quart is about $16. The Optimum polishes are outstanding too. I think the NEW M105 and M205 combo will beat them hands down, once their on the market.
Your asking me, "Do you WISH Meg's would create their own type of ONR?" YEEEESSSSSSSS!
In closing, I think _most_ people will love this product, after adjusting their routine a bit. I have not looked back, since converting over to it.
