    Re: Midwest Get Together

    Hey Chris,
Just a thought, if it's going to be a problem getting enough people, you may want to start a thread on another forum such as Autogeek or Autopia??? Just thought...

      Re: Midwest Get Together

I would love to be able to come. Hopefully it will workout. Just too much going on now for me to commit. Sort of funny for me... It's 500 miles but it's almost all on HWY 41.

Is there anything else in the area to check out or do? Not that your not enough entertainment but it would be easier to convince my buddy to come with if there was a few things to check out. I hate driving that far alone. I get board talking to myself. lol

Cool! I'll post a sign up thread about a month before the event.

I just wanted to do a "feeler" to see if enough people were interested.

          Things to do in Evansville...

LST 325 - WWII LST transport ship
Angel Mounds - Native American site (car show that day, too)

If you are willing to travel, Marengo Caves is about two hours away. It's definately worth the trip, though.

I will find a few more things to do that weekend.

If you guys want to go to Indy on Sunday, that would be cool!

                It's about 4 hours away.

By the way, I bought another rotary to use...

Yeah, it sure is a FUN polisher to use! It's about three inches longer and a tad heavier than the 7336.

Just a quick thought, but does anyone have a G110 they wouldn't mind bringing?

                      Re: Midwest Get Together

if I get to come, I have one I can bring, it's been relegated to a brush that I use it with on interiors with before they get extracted. I'm sure I have the backing plate somewhere for it though...

That new polisher sure looks nice, It actually looks similar to the Flex rotary I have...

Thats so awesome that you are able to put this on and have Meguiar's sponser it.

Definitely look forward to the pictures, if I don't make it out there.

Yeah, it should be a fun time!

I will come up with some things for some to bring. Right now, we will need soft drinks, water, side dishes, and deserts.

We have a big Jeep club in town and maybe they will be doing something that weekend...
