    I work in IT for 2 businesses who belong to the same owner. The plastics division slowed down a lot with people laid off. This division makes skis and stuff for ATVs and snowmobiles mainly, so that kind of luxury doesn't sell too well now.

    The rubber division on the other hand is doing great. They make rubber tracks for ATVs, agricultural tractors and military tanks for a few countries. The military side of the business is booming.

      I work in a autoparts fatory. We where at 500 people a year ago now there are only 190 left. Been told I only have a month left before I'm gone. I've only work two weeks out of the last six, its not looking good.

        Washes are tough to sell! I don't even talk about them to my customers at all. Keep your chin up, and shoot for the wash/wax and full detail stuff. Keep pushing it and do a good job, then the business with start rolling in!

          Yes it has slowed big time. Allot of mobile detailers in my area have gone out of business.

            we have 30+ guys layed off right now,lucky i worked today,not sure about tommorrow.
