    I always grab the cat when I run out of towels. Keep him on his back and use long gliding strokes to remove dust and finger prints.

      For the pads....
      I keep one of my worn out pads on top. This keeps any dust from setteling on top of a fresh pad. Plus, I use a brush on every pad before using it.

      For the towels...
      Same concept. I never use the top towel. When the stack is gone, the top towel goes into the dirty pile.
