Do your friends think you're nuts for cleaning your car so much?

Hey everyone. Just curious to see if any of your friends share the same passion about cars and car detailing as you guys do.

My friends think i'm crazy for not only washing my car a lot, but actually washing it myself! When I tell people I wash it twice a week (weather permitting) and wax often they think I'm crazy.

Some of my friends have gone almost a year without even getting it washed!! Breaks my heart cuz they have nice cars. This is probably the main reason why I'm on this site multiple times daily Your thoughts?

Yep! Alll the time.

My co-workers do too....but they also send their cars to me so it pays off.

yeah and then some - it's so bad that when i went out of town for a few months everyone knew it because my car is always clean. My sister even decided to wash it off because she said the car just didn't look the same! lol She doesn't even wash her own car so that says a lot.

A couple of my friends think I'm crazy, but then again they are equally as crazy in other ways...so look at what they do as a hobby.

Yeah, but it has rubbed off on them. They all wash and wax, and all of the other good stuff.

My neighbors keep telling i'm going to wash the paint off of the cars I wash them so often. I hooked up hot water to the hose spicket so I can wash it during the winter.

My ex girlfriend tells me that if I had put as much effort into our relationship as I do caring for my car, we would still be together.

Yep, My friends think I am nuts because I wash it/UQD at least twice a week. Sometimes three times a week. But since I wax my own car they started to wax there own car too.

Of course my friends think I am nuts. But the way I look at it everyone has their own obsessions. Mine just looks better then theirs. lol

I have three cars to take care of, and a lot of people think I spend too much time doing it (until it comes trade-in or sale time!)

I think that friends that DONT clean there cars are slobs , and I will tell then so.
