Ok so i detailed a BMW today. Removed all swirls and scratches. The only thing is this car must have been bullet proof
. It is honestly the hardest paint i have ever worked on. Just for the light swirls that i could usually get off with ( rotary ) #80 w/ 8006 pad, it took #85 w/ 7006 and for the mild swirls it took #85 with the wool pad and still took a few passes! I wish i had some 105 to see how that would work on it but #85 is the strongest i have right now. After 9 hours of extreme buffing i finally was able to wax and enjoy. The pic below is just a pic of the car not the finished product. I believe i took this pic just after washing before i clayed it. Sorry no after pics, I forgot to take them. It was late and he needed to get it home before it started raining so no time.
