NOOOOO PCs (Personal Computers not porter cables... even though they fit this statement too) are awesome. Beware the Macs.

Actually Mac finally has their head on straight and uses intel processors now days.... so they're not all bad.

          Hey Joe,

How do you like it now that you have it?

As well as video, photos, FM Radio, tons more than the iPod Shuffle for the same price.
Anyone else using a Creative product over the iPod?

We have 2 of the 4 GB Zen V Plus and an 8 GB IPod Nano 3G in our house. I have nothing but praises for the V Plus, but I prefer the IPod Nano only because of the way it handles audio books. My daughter prefers the Zen V plus. If you plan to watch music video's or movies, then the Nano would be a better choice.

Both are really easy to add music and manipulate the play lists.

I was just finishing my Christmas shopping. Mom was going to get a iPod Nano but now I'm going to get here a Microsoft Zune. I like the fact it does FM radio too. Hope she likes it! The place I bought it bhphoto.com has a 2 year warranty for $11 too. It even covers accidental damage. For something that small and fragile I figured it was worth it.

That really didn't answer your question did it. Just more to think about.

Thanks guys. I do not know why I did not thin k of this before. At the first of the year, the wife and I are going to start working out again. She likes to take walks. I am going to look at these to get her one for Christmas. Thanks again for the idea.

My stepdaughter uses the Creative Muvo V100, USB drive that plugs into an MP3 player. Works good, works as a zip drive or mp3 player.....

She does want an Ipod though and prolly getting that for CHRISTmas.

I like the Creative, sounds as good as anything else.

I have the Ipod shuffle, works great. Let those batteries die all the way and then charge it!

Re: Need to know about the iPod shuffle

I personally have a Ipod Classic 80 GB model, it's nice, but was pricey. I did drop it not long after I had it and the hard drive crashed. I contacted Apple, and I had a box on my door step the next day with the directions and instructions to return it after we went through the trouble shooting steps. During the week they had it, I could see it's status of repair on their website, the following week I received a new replacement model. I promptly went out and bought a protective case and I have nothing but praises for their customer service.
My son who is 8 wants an MP3 player for Christmas, I showed him the Shuffle and he quickly dismissed that because it didn't have the screen and song titles, and I didn't want to shell out 150.00 for a Nano. I found a SanDisk-Sansa Clip, 4GB model with a screen and play list and uses Window Media Center to sync up with for 45 bucks. I hope it pleases him as I didn't' want to shell out 150 bucks for something he will possibly loose or break.

I use mine frequently and want to buy my wife one too!

I went out and bought the wife a mp3 player. She wanted the FM radio also. Why? It is 4 gb. We will see on Christmas if she likes it.

At first I didn't like the shuffle either because of the lack of screen. But my dad got me one for Christmas a couple years back, and I love it. I realized, I already know what songs I have on there, and it has all the good songs on there, its so light you never know you have it on you, its perfect for working out. I don't think I could stand those arm bands.
