C&C goes on rain or shine. Not surprisingly, the level of participation goes waaaaay down in the wet. And the crowd that does show up is biased toward more recent vehicles. Most guys with a C-type or Auto Union aren’t especially keen on seeing them get soaked.

So, in light of the current weather projections, I think we can safely say the unofficial MOL gathering at C&C is postponed until a drier day.

Still, some cars are bound to show up. So I wouldn’t tell anybody to stay away. If you still want to go, please do. And report back on what you find.

For now, I expect to sleep in. But I could probably be talked into going.

We currently have a 60% chance of rain for Friday, 90% for Saturday and 60% for Sunday. I think I'll be sleeping in on Saturday...

Looks like a bunch of us are going to be there and then heading over to Meg’s for the Batmobile fun day.

Are you going to the Batmobile and Joker day on the 5th? My parents and I are staying up in Irvine the Friday and Saturday (4th and 5th) so I would already be there...maybe we could go to that one then head over to Meguiar's? I know my dad wants to go as well...

Yup, I’ll be there. It should be a good day to hit both Meg’s and C&C too.

Meg’s regular Saturday classes start around 08:00 to 08:30, which leaves you pretty rushed for C&C. Since the 5th will be a “fun day” there’s no pressure to be there on time. And is starts later anyway, at 09:00, so we should have no problem.

Donut Derelicts in Huntington Beach off Magonolia and Adams is also a great place to get before C&C. I normally go there from 6 till 7:30 and then cruise over to C&C.
