Or if you were to show one of your customers that has 5 expensive cars sitting in some warehouse somewhere. Sometimes it's better not to advertise. I dont worry about it too much, but mine is stock.
    Good Points!
You left out licking the water off. Oh, wait a minute, that's my cat, not my car. Uh, I mean my cat licks himself dry. I don't lick my cat dry. Or my car. -PC.

There are probably loads of professional car thief rings in the U.S. Suppose one of these dirt-bags with contacts in many states sees your plate online. Your car is a $50,000 classic car. The dirt-bag has someone he knows who has hacked into the DMV system and can find your address in an instant. Your car may be gone the next day. There is a market for ANYTHING in this country!

STG: That car just winked at me!
It's saying, "I want to be pampered by Lydia."

Bonus question for Lydia. What does the personal plate mean?

Whats to stop someone from following me home in my $50,000 classic car from a car show one day? Or just seeing my classic car on the road and getting the plate number from there?

Nothing.....but why increase your chances of it happening is the point I was trying to make. The internet is used for all kinds of thievery these days.

Oh, Okay. I just did not know if there is a "special danger" to having your plate on the web?

You have gone 225 KPH in you mustang once? About 140MPH?

You left out a digit. 1225, not 225. What model of car is it?

P.S.:I've gone over 155MPH more than a dozen times in that car. (GPS verified.)

Sure beats putting the name of the car on the plate!

What are you trying to prove going that fast?

And you call yourself a car guy!

I'm trying to prove you didn't figure out the plate. Additionally, 155MPH is faster than a Cobalt falling off a cliff.
