    Re: What's your profession?

I am an elementary school music teacher... and darn good at it, too! My chorus and bell kids are really good little musicians. My chorus sings in three part harmony and my bell kids can play jazz and improvise to Dave Brubeck tunes. I've been at this for 18 years. I play in a band for fun and detail only my own car.

I just had an idea for a new profession...Meguiar's On-Line Chaplain!

I got my degrees in Criminal Justice and Spanish before going to Seminary for a Master of Divinity. I'm an ordained minister, hoping to pastor one day soon...but I started a mobile detailing business and work that full-time for now.

              Re: What's your profession?

For the last 18 years I have been a full time professional mobile auto detailer. I specialize in detailing high end exotic and classic vehicles. I have been known to detail a school bus now and then as well-LOL.

My company, Superior Shine Mobile Auto Detailing, is based in Covina, California which is about 25 miles east of Los Angeles. See my profile for a link to my web-site.

I was told that was one of the first (if not the first) M6 in So. Cali.

We will be doing a new Bently GTC soon as well. Detailers on the East coast have done a few already.

I;m currently a senior in high school, looking to get accepted into Milwaukee School of Engineering or Cal Poly: San Luis Obispo. I might try Rochester Institute of Technology, but I don't wanna go TOO far from my hometown. I am looking to major in Software Engineering, start my own software development company, my own automotive detailing business, and maybe minor in Civil Engineering.

I'm an Air Traffic Controller at the Chicago Air Route Traffic Control Center. Yes it's busy, and sometimes stressful. We are one of the world's busiest air traffic facilities.

Detailing is therapy for me, but these colder months have really put a damper on that! 4 degrees outside this morning!

I'm a Marine. I've been in for almost 12 years now, so I am over half way to retirement (at least retirement from the Marine Corps).

                          Elementary school teacher. love it.

started detailing seriously last year. used to put around and stuff years back but when I bough my MINI i started taking it more serious.

in the 16 weeks I had my MINI on the road last year, i did 10 full detail jobs and couple minor ones in between. once i started doing the MINI, a lot of my friends started taking notice of its shine and appearance. i did a few others as well. did one vechile, inside and out, and the next week got stolen. they must have noticed the paint...

and so, this year, i have already 5 or 6 cars lined up to do in my summer months off.

its more of a hobby and something I do for fun now.

thanks to MOL for the knowledge.

time will only tell though. as it takes lots of practice. but so far, i'm fairly confident.

                          cheers

My profession is a web developer/programmer or in layman terms, a webmaster and web designer for your run of the mill websites, unless I'm building higher end software applications, then I go by the former. Simple semantics
