Hey, thanks Mister B. I used their part finder, but they weren't listed. Maybe they are too new to be in there. Now I can't wait to get to the store and try them out. Thanks again for the part numbers!

Rain X works. Installing Rain X will cause your wipers to chatter and no amount of cleaning will stop it.

RainX also makes the water fly up your windshield, which is a little freaky at first. My one aunt cant stand it....

That is odd. I used their part finder also. As long as I entered the information on your truck correctly those should be the correct part numbers. (2004 Chevrolet Silverado SS)

If you currently have 22” wiper blades those part numbers will work.

Used Bosch for years they work very well, I replace them once a year.

Feels like I haven't been on here forever because of exams...and they haven't even started yet

Anyways, I have tried almost all of the frameless wipers. I find that they are no good if you have a really big wiper blade. IIRC the drivers side of my Accord has 26" blades and the passenger side has 18" blades. The 26" side has always steaked or missed spots with every brand (Michelin, the new RainX, Canadian Tires Reflex, Bosch Icons, and some cheap walmart ones)

I actually think that Canadian Tire sells the best blades, but they take longer to install becausae of the new "wet tech", which is quite simalar to RainX. the only problem is I have to buy them from Canadian Tire. The 2nd best would have to be the Icons and closely followed by the walmart frameless blades. The RainX ones were okay, but a touch on the expensive side for what you get. The Michelin ones are good so far, but they do not sell a 26" blade, possibly because of the contact issues that other frameless blades have.

That's the same problem I have had with wipers on my Tundra, hopping and chattering. But since I bought these Bosch Icons they lay flat on the windshield and work streak free, even at highway speeds. They run super smooth, a little pricey but if they last 12-18 mos then it would off set the price, winter ice will be the real world test only have had frost so far this year to deal with, and that has not hurt the blades any.

Wish I would've gotten some yesterday, we just got 3" of ice yesterday and last night and are expecting snow now. That would've been a great test for them!

Personally, I go for wipers made by Denso. They last quite a bit longer than any other wiper I've tried, plus they're relatively inexpensive compared to Bosch etc. They don't jump or squeak.

Yeah I saw that and was watching the weather pretty close Had a aircraft get stuck in Tulsa Ok. and another in St.Louis. Here in Cincinnati we get lots of rain, I sometimes think we live in Seatle, around 2" already this weekend and that ice is coming this way for monday. So what I'm saying is I can check out wiper blades pretty quick, it helps to have a clean windshield base when you start and even clean it from time to time in bad weather real good. That will reduce any/ or some of the build up. These blades are a bit of money but I have been having to change out blades every 3 to 9 months from having them wear out or start to hop, and chatter, which I hate. so If these last till next winter I will be happy, and the cost will even out. As the new style wheres of maybe the price will also.

By far the best replacement windshield wipers I've used are trico neoform beam blades that i picked up online at wipers123. They are the newer, frameless style and they have a ****** coating that lubercates the blade or something to keep them from bouncing around. They're about 15 bucks.

Following up on my own post above...

As I was shopping for neoforms I found out that trico came out with a new blade in late 2009 called the 'Trico Tech Beam Blade' so I gave them a shot. They have a very slick new off-set mounting system that lets my wiper arms sit ever so slightly lower. They are beefy too - maybe even beefier than the neoforms - also less expensive. So far so good...
