i never got the point of this tradition but i think theres nothing good about it. The idea of kids collecting candy from total strangers is a weird thing. and theres always those @#$#@$#@$ kids that go around vandalizing property like its an acceptable act just because it is holloween. Every holloween i sit in my house paranoid looking out the window every half a minute seeing if my car is ok.... i hate this sh1t.... I really think holloween should be banned....

i don't ever see kids collecting candies anymore! I did it when i was really young...i did it last yr . I think more kids tend to go to parties now.

well thats just crazy, we have tons of kids going around my neighborhood and my godchildren love it, and my grandmother was born on halloween

If your worried about your car invest in a car cover,
or keep it out of sight(out of sight out of mind)

That's true, SVT. Disgusting and just plain wrong, but true.

I think I'll sit in our maple tree out front with a water hose and about 3 dozen eggs on Halloween night. Egging seems to be the "cool" thing to do around here. That and shoot metal sling shot bullets through peoples vehicle windows. So maybe I should have a BB gun up there with me too. People won't be able to see me well but I will be able to see them and throw eggs at them. Actually I'd love to be able to confront those idiots that do things like that and chew them out.

Heh heh I guess y'all can kind of tell that's a sore spot in me, so to speak. I don't think Halloween should be outlawed, though.

Hey that's a great idea!! Maybe I should do that instead of egging people that egg our house. It's just so frustrating to have to spend a while trying to clean the egg out of our cedar siding. Actually, last year only one egg was thrown and it landed on our wood front door, so it wasn't that bad.
