    Re: NEW ScratchX!

I think ScratchX should also comeout with a 16 oz now that it can be use wt a DA. Although they should still carry the 7 oz tube too. They could use a black colour DC1 bottle as their packing. It would be cool, don't u think so?

      Re: NEW ScratchX!

The thing about ScratchX in a 16oz is: ScratchX is a hard parts product, a bigger bottle might lead to overapplication by an average consumer IMHO, some people think "more is better" rather than "A little goes a long way"

I am pretty sure there is a good marketing/sales reason why we only offer it in a 7oz tube, but I really like the idea of a larger bottle. I am sure others were thinking it, but benard78 said it. Thanks for the feedback. I will pass this on to our marketing department.

          Re: NEW ScratchX!

Hehehe. Coz I read so much ScratchX thread tht a lot of us out there get a few tubes at a time. Its nice to have the 7 oz tube. But a larger btl means it would be a bit cheaper than buying 2 tubes at once too. Hehehe.

But it true what GTBrad said. ScratchX is more a spot on product and reason it doesn't come with 16 oz. coz its not really for using for the whole car? Hehehe. And it might confuse people who don't know how to use it. They would apply the whole car, let it dry and have a hard time removing it. Hehehehe. We don't want that to happen rite. I just think it'll look handsome in that DC1 black bottle. That's all.

I have one of these bottles in my closet just waiting to be used. I may squeez my two tubes in to it.

You left out licking the water off. Oh, wait a minute, that's my cat, not my car. Uh, I mean my cat licks himself dry. I don't lick my cat dry. Or my car. -PC.

Can't wait to give it a try. An 8006 Polishing Pad should be used with ScratchX and a PC, right?

So any ideas on what pad and speed setting the new Scratch-X will require?

I picked some up the other day at Wal-Mart and really like the bottle, cant wait to use it!!

Hi there everyone. Just wanted to know how to use to new ScratchX on a DA, will I use it like I'm working on a DC1 with a DA....?

I can't find any threads on anyone that has tried the new ScratchX on a DA? Any suggestions. If I ScratchX the whole car, do u think I can skip applying DC2 & just jump to waxing the car...?

I can't get M80 at my place here & we only have consumer line products otc. We do have Professional Line but its only sold to Megs car detailing shop & they don't want to sell it to me. They insist to let them detail instead. I told them its my hobby & I love to do it myself.

Can't wait. I gotta say that when washing the cars both mine and my gf's and you come across those couple of lines that come from random parking lot madness or whatever, the Scratch X with a foam pad by hand goes a long way to remove that ugly sight. Use it constantly after washing cause it works the best of any product.

Hey lilblkblt04 I would assume that since you use an 8006 pad for both 83 and 80 on speed 5 with a G100 that it would be the same for the Scratch X.
