I am kind of doubting that the car will be that fast because they can only run so much boost before they start running into problems.
My apologies, it's the Focus ST, not RS. Both Top Gear and Fifth Gear just praise the car. The street version makes about 225HP but the full on race car is something quite different. I have no clue what engines GM has in Europe that may be along similar lines, but certainly the Evo and STi come with a lot of power in stock trim - near or at 300HP - and can be made to reliably run 400HP or more. Heck, so can the engine from the Dodge SRT4 and Chrysler PT Cruiser GT. I personally know guys who are making near 400WHP on daily drivers with no problems at all.

But it's not a daily driver, it's a concept car. Slow? The car is also quite small with a simple interior. Are you familar with power-to-weight ratios? Did you notice the large front mount intercooler?
