Verizon FiOS is awesome. I have been using it for about 6 months now. I have had less than one hour of down time, and I think the down time could have been client side.

Fiber is the next generation of internet connection, I believe I'm connecting at 3 Mbps, but they have it aviable at 6mbps, and theoritcally it can be infinite, since information is being communicated through pulses of light.

Seems to hang, cannot find logout at bottom of page.

Log Out - Click 'Forums' in the banner at the top of the page. Then scroll to the bottom... on the bottom right hand side you will see 'Log Out' in small print.

Checked "no" on the Email notification of subscribed threads and still getting Emails..... Any help on this, cause I have to delete a ton of these every time I go on line.......Thanks

Not sure exactly how it works but is it possible that you will get emails from the threads you posted on prior to checking the 'no' box?

Bad hyperlink

I posted this in code mistakes (but then noticed this thread)

When I click on the hyperlink forum from the main page

I get a 404 when it tries to access this page

http://www.meguiarsonline.com/cmps_index.php

the forum link works fine when i click it from an other page other than the main root page.

When the main root page at www.meguiarsonline.com appears, IE 6.0.2900 w/ SP2 update does not display the "middle" frame of content on my computer. This frame is the one that usually has the "news updates" and "annoucements". I am able to see the left column (beginning with the User CP box, and ending with Today's Birthdays) and the whole right column (Recent Threads). Allowing or disallowing cookies under the www.meguiarsonline.com URL does not matter as it still does not allow me to view the middle frame on my computer. However, AOL Explorer and the integrated browser on a Sony PSP allow me to see all of the frames on the root page. I haven't tried Firefox.

Additionally, I'm not sure if this was intended, but the "Meguiars Online" banner logo in the uppermost left corner points to the forums (.../forums/index.php) instead of the root page (.../index.php) when on the forums page. However, when I'm on the /index.php (root) page of MOL, then the banner logo points to the /index.php page. In other words, if I'm either on, or in the [one of the]forums page[s], then the only way to get back to the root page is to retype www.meguiarsonline.com.

Is it just me but it seems the forum really 'hangs' from time to time... I have used MOL on three different computers with three different connections and there are times you will go nowhere.... one instance, you click 'post message' and it will hang there doing nothing. I have had that problem on several occasions since the transition. This also happens when searcing 'View New Posts', same thing just hangs.

Seems for the most part the 'hanging' I was experiencing just prior to the hacking has cleared up. Works very well now.
