I'll be the first to step up and admit that I love my FWD cars. Yes, the torque steer and wheel hop *****, but there's ways to eliminate that, like playing around with the motor mounts. I race my Spec V a ton, and I like how I am not all over the road like most of the RWD cars I've raced with (drag racing for those who are curious). Not to mention that I have always lived in snowy, horrible climates (Wyoming for 22 years) and I loved driving a FWD. And mostly, it's just fun to be apart from the crowd
I was driving my first FWD during the winter. I really got a great appreciation for FWD then.
But, when you have an empty, snow-covered parking lot, I and my children like RWD...donuts.

You can have just as much fun with FWD. Turn the steering wheel all the way in one direction, put the car in reverse, and stand on the gas. My Z-24 I had in high school would sit and rotate on its back tires.
400HP says I can do an AWD burnout! And while RWD is fun, something about cutting 1.7 second 60' times at the track is addicting!
RWDs can cut amazing 60ft times, you just need wide and sticky tires. The good thing about AWD is that you can make that same 60ft time on the street while the RWD will be spinning tires.
I own a 1991 Toyota MR2 which is rear wheel drive and a 2004 Lexus RX330 which is AWD. I love them both for what they are. I hated my FWD Honda Accord for the torque steer and heavy, sluggish front end. I was able to drive through snow with my MR2 (with 4 dedicated snow tires) that my Honda wouldn't even think about.
I have to admit that I like the power at the rear as I am much more able to control the car.
I never have, and hopefully never will own a FWD....
Can't judge a car you've never driven.
I'm an AWD convert. Its heavier than you're average RWD but is a lot easier to setup for good handling. I will compliment Hondas on their suspension, but you just can't beat the feeling and cornering speeds you can get with a lightly modded or even stock All-Wheeler. Swapping into an Accord I kept up with my own car, but you really had to ride the ragged edge. And the Beamer on coilovers was left behind long ago
I love the feeling of being pushed rather than pulled, plus with RWd u really swing the car around. But If i had the money i would go with 4wd those leave really nice burnouts.

Did someone ask for a AWD burnout? Check this out....
