Just to add my $.02, I think the bottom logo done in vinyl on the side of a white van would look good. So you basically just have the white van as the backcolor and the black letters are the only thing on the side of the van. I always think that looks cleaner than having a large black block on the side of a white van.
One other thing, the profile of the car in the logo with the non-slanted letter is better looking if you ask me. It looks sleaker in the hood to windshield area and I like the addition of the *sparkle* on the top of the windshield region. So maybe the car profile from the non-slanted logo and the slanted letters? Like I said, that's just my opinion. Either way, I think it is a good change and shows more class which matches with the no compromises, "just good enough is not good enough", way you conduct your business.
I would recomend the lettering be metalic and have water beading on it.
Then under it, put "Mobile Auto Detailing"
Then put your slogan, "Only the Sun is brigher."
As for the shirts, I would find a color that cordinates well wtih the new van and logo. I recomend a polo colared shirt as they tend to add a flair of formalness.
At the very least, something like this:
I just found that searching Google. It looks better than a standard T-Shirt.
I also found this searching Google. Notice how professional this shirt makes this person look. All this person would need is to tuck it in, put on a belt, and some dress pants. Regardless, this would also be good for formal occasions too with a tie.
I would go with something bright like this though:
Doesn't that color look really bright? Like you would see it from a mile away?
The last step of course is to get your shirts embrodered with your new logo. Basically, put out an entire company uniform. You may also wish to have seasonal uniforms too being sweatshirts for the winter, shortsleave polo in the summer, and maybe longsleve polo for the in-between season. Perhaps even some Superior Shine Jackets for the really cold seasons.
Just get the entire team to look alike and look professional. You can be brigher and more professional looking htan any other detailing business around if you try.
