What product got you HOOKED?

I was looking for a better way to clean interiors and I came across quik interior. That is what did it for me. I have used Meguiars products before and even had some on hand, but the results from QI really got me looking at them. I previously used eagle one from my days with Chrysler, but will slowly transfer over(I have a BUNCH to use up).

The first product I tried from Meguiars was the Quik detailer.
The product that got me hooked,and I am surprised no one has mentioned it is detailing clay. I own a white 2003 mazda tribute that sits outside 24/7 and after using the clay, my cars paint went from feeling like sandpaper and looking dull to feeling like glass and very shiny. Maybe because I am such a novice, I thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Meguiars (consumer) Polymer Sealant in 1981. I've been pretty much a Meguiars user since then.

When I bought my 00 Mustang, it was november-so I had a long winter to look around the 'net for Mustang related sites. I asked around on a few about paint care-and Megs seemed to be the standard. I'm not sure if this was also when I found Show Car Garage or not, but that site (which eventually brought me here) as well as the Mustang sites lead me to Megs. Now, my car was a year old ex-rental when I got it, so it needed a little work. I cant credit one product because of this-I bought the clay, steps one & two of the deep crystal system and gc paste. Never looked back except to shake my head and think "my poor truck-all that time I could have been doing this rather than just using turtle wax and an old towel!!"....

NXT Tech Wax for me... My old man bought it when it first came out... he would make me wash and wax his car and I hated it , so when he brought this home and I tried it... I converted, the stuff was so easy to remove.

Just thought I'd mention my experience... I don't think I stated it before.

I have always been a frequent washer of my cars, mostly stuff like Turtle Wax, foam sponges, etc. When my car had bad oxidation I thought I'd have to have it professionally detailed. Then I found the Deep Crystal System. It returned my car to brand new looking. I've never looked back since and keep adding more and more knowledge and hope to have a g100 soon.
