I cant remember which I had first.... Gold Class Endurance tire dressing or QD. Been using both for many years. I probably got the QD first as I used to do car shows frequently in the past and QD was a freebie in the grab bags back then for show entrants. Both worked so well I continued to use them.

I was first converted to Meguiar's after using the Deep Crystal System (all three stages) and comparing it to the results I'd previously achieved with Zymol and realising the results were twice as good for a tenth of the cost.

I then invested in a PC and some #80 and it just blew me away. To this day the finish #80 leaves just astounds me and is probably used at some point in every single detail I do.

This forum actually played a large part in my sound commitment to Meguiars products and methods. I've finally gotten into the 80 series polishes, and absolutely love #16 (got 3 cans from west marine two days before they sold out ).

Each new product I use works excellently. For example, my one awful tonneau cover looks promising for my upcoming detail after trying a pre-cleaning on it using #39 and many terry clothes. It now looks and feels much better, and should be able to take in the ASD quite well.

I also love Meguiars tools, esp. the Water Magnet and foam applicators. The foam applicators make poast wax so easy and fun.

For me it was good ol' Quik Detailer. This was the first Meg's product I tried. My wife gave it to me for christmas.

I have been hooked on Meguiar's since my car show days. I used Quick Detailer like it was crack.

I couldn't belive the results I got from such an inexpensive "system", I had used it for several years prior to MOL... then MOL came online and now all Meguiars products have me hooked.
                            I couldn't agree more!

When I was first looking for wax and polish for my '86 Jetta, I knew absolutely nothing about paint care. Just by glancing through the products on the shelves and seeing the 3-step Deep Crystal, my gut knew that it was somehow a better product than anything else displayed.

This was about 10 years ago now. It wasn't until I bought my Mustang and about year later, a 2002 Chevy Tahoe, that I started to do research. I knew a little more than before, but when I traded in the Tahoe for my 2004.5 Volvo S40 (MPG trade-up) that began to really research and check out these forums.

It's hard to believe that just by knowing how to wash your car can make a vehicle look better than anyone elses in your neighborhood. And that doesn't include paint cleaning, polishing, or waxing.

Hmm this took some thinking on my part. About 3 years ago when I had my first car I got a tube of Megs Leather Wipes because for the same price as Armor All they had 5 more wipes FFWD a few years and I was tired of my Z looking dull so I picked up some NXT liquid, then found this wonderful place. Now the collection s growing........

                                #80

I had purchased a PC7424 but the polish I was using just wasn't getting rid of my swirls. I went to a Saturday clinic and Mike Phillips just made it look so easy, plus I saw 80 being worked for a good long time. So, I went out and got some, and my swirls disappeared.

I've just been expanding my collection ever since.
