I have a 4.3 also. I test drove a 4 cyl. but it was AWEFUL! Those 4.3's are fun. I have an standard though...makes it easier to pass or start off fast IMO. Also a lot more interesting to drive. I'm trying to figure out what brand air intake to get right now. Have any ideas?

I've always been a K&N person, but I just read an article in Truckin' about AEM's new dry filter technology on the AEM Brute Force intake. It sounds pretty high quality. Try looking on http://www.s10forum.com/ in the 4.3 section. Do a search, there's over 40,000 members, so I'd think that just about everything has been tried. The only place I disagree with the start off is, I can torque mine up to 1800 RPM, then role out to about 15-20 MPH and hammer it, and never let off. I have 3.42 gears, a locking rear, and I have the overload spring clamped to the others, so it acts like traction bars.

is your s10 on bags or anything?
LOL. Oh well....I guess I'll have to figure out some other way. JK.

No my S10 isn't on bags. Not anything special done to it....yet. I would like to do some things to it once I get the money though.

I think you may have been using ScratchX wrong, or for the wrong reason.

ScratchX is supposed to feel gritty, and your supposed to work it in small areas until it breaks down, it has diminishing abrasives that need to be worked to do what they are designed to do...

Maybe you need to look into #9 swirl remover....

I could have been. I like the stuff I have now, butI'll look into that #9.
The scratch-x woked fine, I just didnt really like it when I used it. Maybe I'll get a new tube of it when I get the g-100 afterthe repaint is done.
