Most situations are answered for common people so when they got their certain detail questions or problems solved ,they have no further intensions to read on and keep up and share other useful information i guess.

Ok. So I'm old but I still like to hang out on MOL daily. Right now it's 84° and I've been hanging out here all day. The RX is freshly waxed with NXT and it's time to work out the kinks in my arms and back.

              Same here.

Plus the holiday period between Thanksgiving and New Year's can be a big "time" consumer.

I guess it's either feast or famine with me so to speak....Although I feasted too much earlier in the past year and offended a few with my many posts.

              Live and learn I guess.

It's kinda been the opposite for me. I began by posting and writing how to articles and helping others on the MINI forums for the past 2 years. I did this religiously, and soon my passion spread outwards towards the detailing side, and I soon became one of the more respected Meguiar's proponents on that MINI forum which was largely bent on Z****. Even though I'm a vendor and moderator on that MINI forum, I now spend most of my time here on MOL--taking my 80 something posts in a year to 300 something in just the past two months. The funny thing is that the traffic is far lower here, so in a way, MOL, has been slowly weening me off the forum "addiction" I've had all these years, and it's a good thing--I'm getting more work done. =)

In my case, I was very "green" when I first came here. I spent countless hours seeking knowledge on how to bring my car to it's maximum potential. I now feel like my knowledge level is at about 80%. ( Thank you MOL members! ) The only thing I now lack is rotary experience. My car has reached it's maximum potential. Now, all I do is maintain it. So I guess that has slowed me way down on participation on the board. I check back in to see what car clubs are going to be at Meguiars. I like to drop by there once in a while to say, "Hi" to Mike Phillips. I guess I need a new detailing project or something.

Maybe time to set up another Viper Detail Day at Meguiars. The last one was a big one. Barry Meguiar even came on with a TV crew for Car Crazy!
                        See Below.

Meguiar's is proud to host a Detail Day at Meguiar's for local area Viper owners!

I still like to work on my cars, and my friends' cars, but I don't like writing and discussing it so much anymore.

I'll check in every couple days, but advice wise everyone seems to have it handled.

If I have an interesting observation, or find something worth sharing, I'll do it; otherwise, I'm just not so into writing about it anymore. I like reading about what everyone else is doing, though.

As the light changed from red to green to yellow and back to red again, I sat there thinking about life. Was it nothing more than a bunch of honking and yelling? Sometimes it seemed that way.

I came over here in it's brandy new early stages from Mike's site...then it was summer and I spent all my time detailing the vehicles and working on our project 73 Mach...then it was winter and I found if I was here much, my cabin fever/detailing withdrawl got worse , so I stopped coming by as much...then it was summer again...kind of a cycle.

Plus I am a semi-active member of gotstang?, YMR, and wnycarclubs and just started www.electricgreenmustangregistry.com and www.greenmustangclub.com plus I'm a mod at scoobytruck.com...wow I guess I do spens too much time online!

I would be out in my boat if the weather here was like that!
I can't complain though, it has been in the 50's for highs most of January. December was nasty though with lots of snow!

I strained my back while drying my car off in December and couldn't do much detailing. Then I got a bad sinus infection and was sick for a few weeks. I have not been detailing much so I haven't been as active on MOL. I never even got to complete my winter detail!

MY GTO is getting a few coats of NXT and M21 this weekend though.
