DC Step 1 is a paint cleaner.
DC Step 2 is a polish.
DC step 3 is a wax.
Naturaly these fit right into the paint care cycle.. wash, clay, clean, polish, wax. The thing with Meguiars is, you can use any cleaner, any polish, and any wax together, depending on your needs.
We have just recomended a different paint cleaner, as the DC#1 isnt the strongest cleaner, and it sounds like your cars need a little more strength. And you mentioned wanting to use gold class wax as the wax step, in place of the DC step 3.
The products will still work together perfectly.. the numbering system in the consumer line is just for the less informed consumer, so they know what order to go in. I guess people would want to wax, before they cleaned the paint otherwise.
