Re: Tech wax 2.0
I now like NXT very much. Ok, the beading isn't insane, but the shine is good. Not too bright and glassy but it gives a good balance between depth, reflectivity, gloss and depth and wet look(ness?). As with synthetic waxes, initial gloss isn't awesome but when it cures the slickness and overall shine definitely improves (in my eyes). I have to admit, i use a last step product and i'm doing a comparison between a panel with this LSP applied vs. Pure NXT 2.0.

Re: Tech wax 2.0
Are u waxing by hand or with the DA. If your waxing by hand all you need is a thin coat of it. And by machine you might use more product because your pad keeps absorbing the wax when you press into it. If your waxing by machine you should press the pad into the paint and use that product because your pad gets drenched with wax. Hope this help out.

1/3 of a bottle? I don't use more than an ounce or 1.5 ounces even when doing my dad's Honda Pilot or my sister'a 2010 Honda CR-V.

Re: Tech wax 2.0
Yes, you can use GC over TechWax 2.0. In fact, the new GCCP is actually works as good (or even better) as a topper.

However sometimes even brand new cars require claying after washing because they have been kept outside before purchase.
Dennis, after you wash your car do a clay test: gently rub your clean hand on the hood of your vehicle, if you feel some bumps (you can hear them as well) then you have bonded contaminants on your paint - you need to clay. If you don't feel/ hear anything you can skip claying. You can put your hand inside zipper bag to perform this test as well.
Clay bar prepares your paint surface and removes all dirts seating on top of it which your car wash can't remove. Remember, car wax stays on top of your paint as well so for longer and better wax protection it's worth to do it.
In your case I'd use just a cleaner wax next. It's your choice: M66 Quick Detailer, ColorX, Cleaner/ Wax M6. After that you can still use your favorite wax - natural or synthetic.
All of these products you can apply by hand but you're gonna get better results with cleaner wax polisher application.
Good luck !!!
