I wanted to get some feed back on the Meguiar’s Quik Interior Detailer Spray product. Has anyone had any discoloration issues with this product? I bought a spray bottle over the weekend and used it on my Volvo XC90. Tested it first on some of the plastic trim in hidden areas. Right of the bat it started to discolor the original tan color to a milky white color. Fortunately I had a bottle of the Meguiar’s Natural Shine Spray to go over and get it to come back.
Has anyone else had this issue?
I followed the instructions, do not let dry. Dry with separate clean cloth. I use white micro cloths. It seems as soon as it is sprayed on (or applied using the micro cloth) it immediately discolors the trim to that milky white color. As I said, I’m able to restore the color using the Meguiar’s Natural Shine Spray. Though I shouldn’t have to go over it with that spray.
Due to this color issue, I have not used it on anything else in the vehicle. I’m looking for another product that will clean the interior without discoloring. I’ve always liked and trusted Meguiar’s products, but am surprised that this product is causing problems.
If anyone has any feedback, please let me know.
