I too, only had a streaking problem when I applied it to thick. Otherwise no problems at all.

Sorry to hear about your challenges with NXT Tech Wax 2.0. Usually we see this when it's applied too heavily, as in the image below:

You should be able to wax a full sized American sedan with just a couple ounces of product. Once your applicator pad becomes wet with product there's no need to add any more to it, at least for a while. With the car pictured above, we had the owner's girlfriend take the applicator and, without adding another drop of product, wax the rest of the car. No problem.

You can pick up little 3oz bottles at WalMart and Target that are used for carrying shampoos and other lotions in carry on bags during domestic flights as the FAA now restricts the amount of these products you can bring on board a flight. They're prefect for making sure you don't over use a product - just pour some NXT Tech Wax 2.0 from its bottle to one of these little guys, but do NOT fill it up!!! Just 1/2 to 2/3 of a bottle is all you want. If you can't stretch that over the entire vehicle, you're using too much.

Once you've applied it to all the painted surfaces of the vehicle it should be dry in 20 to 30 minutes - start your clock when you've finished coating the vehicle. At this point it should just about fall off when you start wiping.

Very nice tip, Michael. You're right about ease of removal. When applied properly, NXT 2.0 just falls off by looking at it.

The towels might be it actually. I wash my LSP wipe-off towels in the same batch as my normal ones. I'll try getting a brand new towel. Thanks guys.

I had a streaking problem with NXT when I applied too much and wiped too early (not very patient!) and since then, switched to paste and do the swipe test on each panel and THIN coats.

If you get streaking, Last Touch is a good product to get rid of it and easy to use and quick.

Make sure when you wash your towels to wash on hot and don't use softner or fabric sheets in the dryer.
