Is anyone reviewing any other samples; or is sample P the only one?

Thanks! It would appear that tire sling will not be an issue with this Sample P, more testing will confirm.

All in all, looks great. I haven't had any jobs since I got my sample, but I have tried it on a surface or two with great success. I will get the videos uploaded soon...
This has been my experience with the material in these cars too. Not sure why Nissan chose such poor material but I hope the 370's don't have it.

    Nice review also.

I assume you tracked which half of the tires weathered how?
Yep, the side with Michelin lettering on it is protected with Sample P.

So do you think that Lab Sample P will be a good replacement for those of us that love M40, but not all that much in love with the smell?

I think part of that will come down to preference on application. If you don't mind a dressing that is thicker in consistency, then yes. It does apply very easily, but I like a spray dressing for interior work as I feel it's easier to get all the nooks and crannies.

It does leave a more matte, natural looking finish though. Plus it doesn't require a wipe down to lessen the gloss, which again comes down to preference and some people may prefer the glossier look of M40.

No problem Mike. I had planned to try it out on that white C6 Vette last weekend too but just got to pressed for time and the owner showed up before I had the chance.

Re: Rasky's "Lab Sample P" review

Great review. FWIW, I have a 350Z and the interior panels' texture are actually a multitude of concave dimples. It seems the blotchy effect is the result of light reflected off the protectant/cleaner/whatever that is left in the dimples. I use a MF towel on my car w/ QID, using both vertical and horizontal motions to be sure I cover as much of the dimple as possible. They still look a little funky for a day or two, but die back to "normal" after that. I like QID as the blotchiness seems to be more pronounced w/ gloss (& I'm not partial to gloss/shine on my interior anyway).

Tried out Sample P on an engine bay tonight. Applied with a foam applicator. Looks good!

LOL! I never even noticed that! I planned the logo to be behind the sample in the first pic but not in the Frod one.

Sorry guys, I haven't had a chance to do any real long term testing on exterior trim. Though where I did use it on the engine bay of my girls car still looks great as I had to add some washer fluid the other day.
