Remember Tim, as good as these products are you have to be as critical as possible so we get the best product and all the bugs are worked out!

      Hey,

I received a few emails asking me if the Lab Sample P helps to restore faded/weathered plastic... I have to say...YEP!

      The follow-up is coming shortly...

This is a great photo. Is there anyway you may be able to leave this "as is" and just note how long it will take the treated side to become the same color as the untreated side?

Thanks in advance if you can do this,
          Mike

That's why I like reading your reviews, you compare products and bring back discontinued products for us to know how the product smells like, looks like, feels like, and performs

              Great job my friend

I look forward to trying "Lab Sample P" on my interior. Right now my favorite is M40. I love everything about it except the way it smells, I have never been able to really warm up to it and my wife doesn't like it in her car at all because of the smell.

If I can get similar results with LS-P and a smell like QID, then Meguiar's has a winner for me.

              Thanks for a great review,

If you look at my past reviews over the years, I believe you will find that I am always objective as possible.

Yes, it is. After sitting outside 24/7 for the last 10 years in the hot summer sun, and freezing snow, going camping and fishing and of course actually stepping on it the odd time, any plastic cover will be faded slightly. Actually, after 10 years I am amazed at just how well it looks after it has been dressed. It looks like new and that is the whole idea....

I actually did do something similar. I dressed one side of the bumper with the Lab Sample P and the other, with my most used dressing, ASD. That will be a big test as Meg's ASD lasts and lasts. By doing one side of the bumper with the Lab Sample and the other side with ASD, I have limited the factors that may interfere with evaluating the product's performance. Ie. the bumper will be exposed to the same amount of sun, outside elements etc. Otherwise, simply putting it on an area with no way of a comparison does little for providing an accurate evaluation.

I too use a lot of M40 and ASD as they are excellent dressings. I also use other dressings, and other brands, so it does give a person a chance to really compare...

Have you ever thought about doing a video version of your reviews? I think it would outshine everything that is out there / on YouTube.

I can already see the billboard "These reviews go to 11!"

Not yet as there are already too many poor quality videos around....

LOLOL In all fairness, had I used M39, APC+ etc first before the dressing the pre-treated plastic would have been a lot cleaner than in the picture. However, I wanted to see the cleaning abilities of the Lab Sample, hence the reason I did not pre-clean it first.
