Well....since the car in my write-up is brand new, it was amazing to see the difference the dressing did already! I have another test planned that will really challenge the Lab Sampe P!

Nice job! Thanks for the write-up. Useful information, very thorough, easy to understand.

I wonder what they're going to call this one?
This is what I posted from Tuck91's review.

        Tim,

        Great write up as always!

Pretty good question Frank. Tim do you ever "cocktail" products together?

With all of your experience with different products do you ever cocktail any of them as your own secret weapon ? Maybe a compound for example.

          Ah...ah... never...?????

Actually, I have played around with many different product concoctions over the years.

One of the tricks I sometimes use is to use a dressing like M40 and then wipe over top of it with a QID dampened towel. What this does is first clean and dress the surface. By following with a very light wipe down of QID, it helps to knock down the shine and the greasy feeling a little more as the QID will lightly remove that little extra sheen. The end result is a nice satin look... You have to be careful to not over-wipe with QID nor under-wipe as it could create streaks. I know this in not an approved Meguiar's practice, but hey, they have to catch me first! LOLOL

Awesome Write Up Tim! I can't wait to hear more!

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

                I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
                Remove swirls my friends.

The pics are very helpful in showing the product differences and IMHO they are significant!

That's why I like reading your reviews, you compare products and bring back discontinued products for us to know how the product smells like, looks like, feels like, and performs

                        Great job my friend

                          Tim,

                          As always, excellent write up!

I look forward to trying "Lab Sample P" on my interior. Right now my favorite is M40. I love everything about it except the way it smells, I have never been able to really warm up to it and my wife doesn't like it in her car at all because of the smell.

If I can get similar results with LS-P and a smell like QID, then Meguiar's has a winner for me.

                          Thanks for a great review,
                          Mike

Tim ... err ... I mean, "Dr. Review" Lingor ... wow ... I mean ... wow ... do you ever write anything that does not go to 11 on an Ultimate Review Scale? Your reviews are IMHO one of the pillars of MOL's educational value and _that_ is what videos should be done of.

I can't wait to see the wax/sealants reviews.
It had me thinking today- maybe we will see a discontinued product uprgraded... I would like to see M16 2.0. I havn't even tried M16 paste.

It would be a bummer for me to see NXT 3.0, since I have so much 2.0.
Fortunately, for me, time has been flying by.

                                Morning,

Those Lab Samples in the background of that one photo are from years gone by... Only certain people at Meguiar's will know what may be coming for this year! Either way, if the last couple of years are any indication of things to come, I am looking forward to 2010!
