    Scott, if hand application isn't powerful enough to remove the defects, then you have no choice but to move up to a dual action polisher. It's not your fault. You aren't doing anything wrong. Evidently you have hard paint.

    The repainted panels of my Honda are very hard. I can't remove anything by hand. The only thing that seems to work is M105 and a dual action polisher. That's just the way some paint systems are. The original factory painted panels, on the other hand, are easily corrected by M205 and dual action polisher. That's just the way some paint systems are.

      After looking at the surface some more, I am wondering if it isn't some paint overspray. Any suggestions on what I could try to see if that is the case?
