    N95 mask?

Well I used one of those masks from home depot, and it actually works. If it can help reduce me smelling house paint, it definitely helped me reduce the smell of AWC.

The HR All Wheel Cleaner doesn't smell very bad in my opinion, it's not the most pleasant smell either. It's a distinct smell.
I dunno maybe I'm on the strange side but it doesn't bother me one bit. Out of all the offensive oders I've ran into, this stuff ranks very low on the scale.

I think I'm gonna use some tomarrow!

Yeah its acidic, ... And if you get a good whiff it'll make you cough.... and no it doesn't smell to great... But hey... Neither does gasoline. But does it work? SURE DOES!

I'm sure meguiars makes things as pleasnt as possible. But when it comes down to it, is a wheel cleaner... not an air freshener.... It's meant to clean off grime. Have you ever smelt Oven cleaner? That stuff will rip your lungs out! Does what it does though.

I personally was Disappointed by AWC. I found it didn't do much good. In fact it makes my rims look hazy. I get better results with soapy water.

I have now tried the Aluminium wheel cleaner, and have not yet reached a verdict whether I like it or not... So far my verdict is: "meh..."

$14 a bottle doesn't quite justify that type of reaction to me, but to each their own. I don't have brake dust issues and I wash regularly. I'm sure if you had that kind of grime it would be more feasable.

          Just my 2 cents...

With these positive inputs defending the Meguiar's AWC, I believe the verdict here is to have thescreensavers banished from MOL!

I havn't tried this particular product, but I have used loads of different types in the past.I havn't came across any that are offensive to my nose,at least not worth mentioning about.

Try the Gold Class as others have mentioned. If you can't get it,there are loads out there to choose from.I tend to stay away from unknowns or cheapies though,as I tend to think they put too much acid in.

You like the rest of your Meguiar's products. The fact that you don't like one, because of the smell is no big deal.

Well that's fine if it does help. But, it does NOT remove the smell. You are still breathing it in, which can be dangerous.

An N95 is STRICTLY a particulate mask (I know, as my fiance is an RN)

A P100 would be the safest for removing paint fumes and the like. (I know as I wear one of these at work regularly)

Using an N95 for incorrect purposes can be dangerous. Even deadly. The thing is, the smell of the mask hides the smell. (like putting your sleeve over your nose. But those vapours are still getting through!)...

I hope this doesn't come off as being rude... I am just stating this for everones safety and well being.

I don't know how many times I've witnessed someone using toxic solvent based products while wearing a drywall mask.

I don't like the smell for the NXT line's product.
I am waiting to finish the NXT shampoo before changing to Goldclass.
But I don't think I will finish the Techspray.

I've been using AWC for years now and never had a particular problem with its smell. I believe it is based on oxalic acid, hence the smell. I was really amazed reading here what kind of face mask to choose while using this product. Isn't that a little exaggeration?? If we follow that route, we'll soon need a full chemical suit to wash the car.
