Like Mike pointed out, NXT Tech Wax 2.0 is not formulated for automotive glass. Its formulated for paint.

Glass Cleaners do not make glass feel clean either. Have you tried claying your glass? I have used NXT tech Wax 2.0 on my windows after washing and claying them and they turned out great during the rain and i even felt it performed better than RainX.

You might be better off using RainX since that is what it is designed for. Its always best to try and match the correct product to the correct surface your working on.

Out of curiosity, did you clean the windows after waxing with something like NXT glass cleaner or whatever you choose to use on your windows to clean them. After waxing my windows I go back over them with a quality glass cleaner.

I would imagine that Rain X would recommend using all there products on your windows for best results. I've used a fairly good spray on cleaner/wax named Fukken (Canada) it can be ordered on-line in US funds. This stuff can take off tar, paint and other stuff and the Autobody shops love it. I got mine at a local tire store. It is meant for both paint and glass so it'll work, it does get glass nice and clean and leaves a wax film behind that doesn't cause problems.
