Re: Ultimate Quik Wax: Added video to the first post!
Okay, I may be late to the party. I bought the UQW last week. Today was the first chance I had to use it. The stuff is fantastic. Easy to use, the gloss and reflection are unbelievabgle.
If any one else was sitting on the fence about this like I was. (never been a fan of spray waxes.) Go out and buy some. It really is great stuff.
When the wife came out to tell me lunch was ready, she could not believe the shine on her vehicle. She was very impressed.

Re: Ultimate Quik Wax: Added video to the first post!
What is everyone's verdict on using Quick Wax to repell bugs? One person said it actually attracted them.
The grill on my Jeep attracts bugs like crazy. I use Klasse Sealant Glaze as my LSP. Do you think the UQW would help on the grill as an additional protective layer?
Every wash I scrub and scrub with a microfiber bug sponge (after soaking the bugs really well while I wash the rest of the vehicle). I wonder if this weakens the sealant glaze (I just put on a new coat today). I've thought about using the UQW after each wash if it would help, but obviously not if it attracts even more bugs.
After any evening drive my windshield and grill are peppered with them, much worse than any other car I've ever had, probably because the windshield and grill are almost vertical (not at all aerodynamic).

Two questions:
1. References in the thread to UQD, UQW (even UQX) are all mixed in. This is specifically referring to 'Ultimate Quick Wax' UQW, correct?
2. This product is not intended to replace a standard paste/liquid wax or protectant product is it? Is it designed as strictly a 'Booster Wax'?
Cheers!
Richard
2. Correct again, strictly a booster to wax already applied between wax sessions. It is not meant as a LSP

Really I am amazed at how well this stuff works. I never expected the shine that I got from using a spray on. That and the car is as smooth as glass.

Nice video Mark, you were able to just about dry the whole car by running free flowing water over it!!
UQW is a great product, cant wait to see more videos

Nice video.
I washed my truck yesterday with NXT (4th wash in 6 weeks) and after the wash, UQD was still beading and semi-slick still. This is from just one application of UQD on a well prepped surface. Awesome stuff.
I will add this to update my personal thread here.......

Perhaps, towards the start of the summer, you could do a nice full detail with NXT, and after every wash during the summer, use the spray wax, to enhance/restore the shine.
Now, that said, I filmed that video after 1 week, and 1 application of UQW. In that week my car saw 4 days of heavy rain. So to me, I was pretty happy with the results.
I am going to try and wash my car again tomorrow, and hopefully I can snap some more film for you all

EDIT: So just to be clear, you used it as a true spray wax, like Justin explained and how the directions say on the bottle, spray on, spread around, flip towel and buffed off and not apply to whole car, let haze then wipe off?

I have tried other spray waxes, and this is my favorite. It is the easiest, least temper mental, definitely leaves the slickest finish (a week later you can still absolutely feel that the surface of the paint is extremely slick), and sheets water off like no spray wax I have ever seen.
I use it once a week. you can use it more, or less- whatever works for you.
