      Haven't tried Aquawax.

I have tried other spray waxes, and this is my favorite. It is the easiest, least temper mental, definitely leaves the slickest finish (a week later you can still absolutely feel that the surface of the paint is extremely slick), and sheets water off like no spray wax I have ever seen.

I use it once a week. you can use it more, or less- whatever works for you.

Great Video Mark, i could tell you applied it to the glass, car looks great too by the way

Now that i have had UQW for about a month and a half i have almolst used my whole bottle, i already bought a second bottle at Auto Zone so no worries there

But i was also not a big fan of spray waxes before UQW. I used the Tech Wax Spray once on my truck and after i was all finished i realized i could have laid down a regular application of Tech Wax 2.0 Paste or Liquid. But after using UQW i loved the way it awent on and how it came off with ease. IMO UQW is Meguiars's best spray wax. This is a fast and easy maintence tool and what makes it even more special is it has Hydrophobic Polymer Technology. Truly is a great product.

Thanks for the reply. I just got a bottle of the uqw here in tucson, but if I can get it locally back in RI (autozone, aap etc...) then I will probably stick with that. Nice video, thanks.

EDIT: So just to be clear, you used it as a true spray wax, like Justin explained and how the directions say on the bottle, spray on, spread around, flip towel and buffed off and not apply to whole car, let haze then wipe off?

The bold is how I did it. It works for me...

Thanks. That is how I do the aquawax, really looking forward to trying it out.

Any word on the longevity of this product? I might just use this for my daily driver since i wash it twice a month in the summer time. Easier/faster than using NXT 2.0.

I think many in the forum here wouldn't use it as your only wax/sealant. Really, a regular coat of NXT doesn't take that long either.

Perhaps, towards the start of the summer, you could do a nice full detail with NXT, and after every wash during the summer, use the spray wax, to enhance/restore the shine.

Great advice. I would still apply a normal coat of NXT 2.0 maybe once every couple to few months, or as necessary. There are so many factors out there, it's virtually impossible to say how long between wax coats will be right for you.

Now, that said, I filmed that video after 1 week, and 1 application of UQW. In that week my car saw 4 days of heavy rain. So to me, I was pretty happy with the results.

I am going to try and wash my car again tomorrow, and hopefully I can snap some more film for you all

                      Nice video.
I washed my truck yesterday with NXT (4th wash in 6 weeks) and after the wash, UQD was still beading and semi-slick still. This is from just one application of UQD on a well prepped surface. Awesome stuff.

I will add this to update my personal thread here.......

Nice video Mark, you were able to just about dry the whole car by running free flowing water over it!!

UQW is a great product, cant wait to see more videos

Well I just picked some up and I will say that it taste a bit waxy

Really I am amazed at how well this stuff works. I never expected the shine that I got from using a spray on. That and the car is as smooth as glass.

The car looks great and the sheeting in the video is awesome!

                              Two questions:
                              1. References in the thread to UQD, UQW (even UQX) are all mixed in. This is specifically referring to 'Ultimate Quick Wax' UQW, correct?
                              2. This product is not intended to replace a standard paste/liquid wax or protectant product is it? Is it designed as strictly a 'Booster Wax'?

                              Cheers!

                                1. Correct UQW=Ultimate Quick Wax
                                2. Correct again, strictly a booster to wax already applied between wax sessions. It is not meant as a LSP
