I have used the Liquid Clay Bar a couple of times. IME, it certainly removes more than what a wash would, but it does not work nearly as well as an ordinary clay bar. It really just seems to be a mild paint cleaner. See OctaneGuy's review of the product.
Swirls hide in the black molecular depths, only waiting for the right time to emerge and destroy your sanity.
Wow, I thought I was the only one here that was that devoted to the Dark Side...

As with Nicks (Tuck91) experience liquid clay bar did not work.
There was a thread on it a while back.
They liquid clay bar did not remove anything more than a wash would have.
Black BoxTM
An all-in-one solution to one of the most frequently asked questions in car care: What should I use on my black car? The Black Box is a unique blend of newly developed products and the process gives the deepest, wettest black shine.
Product Benefits
Can be used to protect a new finish as well as restore the clarity of an older neglected black finish.
One-of-a-kind black tinted pre-cleaner and conditioner removes scratches, swirl marks and surface contaminants.
The pre-cleaner is quickly and easily removed with the unique black tinted spray detailer, fortified with micronized carnauba, preparing the surface for waxing.
I tried a couple of the ICE products on my moms 4Runner but i feel the ICE line is WAY too overpriced. The ICE car wash and liquid claybar need to come down in terms of price, especially the liquid claybar which requires a pass with normal clay afterwards
Meguiars is big competition for these competitors, so they try to be like Meguiars.
I think the black is to try to be like UQD etc.
I have never tried that product or ever heard of it.
Although I tried Ice and was very upset at the waste of money it was.
Although on a positive note I found Meguiars and the Spray Detailer from Ice is not that bad.
As I am new here, I don't mean to post any off-topic-non-Meguiar's-questions, but I am curious as to any credentials this product may have... I am sceptical of tinted waxes and it seems more like a cover up than a true solution like the Meg 5 step process... Does anyone have any feedback regarding this new product? If you are not familiar, it is a kit that contains a "black" pre cleaner, a "black wax" and a "black spray detailer that is also used to remove the pre-cleaner. Again, as someone fairly new to a complete process, I haven't seen a lot on the Turtle Wax site regarding the important steps of cleaning/polishing. They seem to offer a lot of wax options/ice, but nothing that truly sets up the finish... I had to ask since I have a new black vehicle and this product seems to target this color of vehicle. I am pretty sure I will stick with ordering the 5-step products from Meguiar's, but just wanted an honest opinion on this new development.
