Hi all!
just wondering if any1 knows a megs eco spray detailer specifically for claying?
here in aust a bottle of classic quik detailer is $15 for 473ml. now not saying im broke or anything, but is there anything else i can use that is cheaper and also effective?
Lately i have been using water as a substitute with the megs clay and it doesnt work as well, bonded contaminants are removed, however, the finishing surface (before & after waxing) is not as sleek and smooth, even if you apply LSPs like UQD or Speed Detailer. The shine is there, however the showcar feel isnt.
A 3.8Litre Last Touch from the detailer line is $50, so is that a advisable sub for quik detailer? Cost wise its $6.25 per 473ml instead of $15.
Cars here require claying @ least fortnightly, even if maintained properly. All you need to do is park under a small tree, or a bloody plant even, and you'll have treesap, heavy pollutants and oil. Most cities have 4 seasons in 1 day.
