I currently do a 2-step using 205 then following it with 21. I'm looking for a polish that can remove more defects but still be used right before LSP. Any suggestions.

SwirlX will be a bit stronger than #205. If you really needed a boost, Ult. Compound would be even stronger, and finishes out good on many cars.
You also could consider the Paint Reconditioning Cream. That is a stronger cleaner/wax, and a regular wax after wouldnt hurt.
Or looking toward the MF system.

for these kind of jobs, i tend to use #205 or #83. Outcome is quite similar. On some paints, #83 cuts a little more.Arctic Detailing - Northern Norway
