So I was changing my brake pads/flushing the brake fluid/ rotating my tires the other day and I never tend to wash out the insides of my wheels because you really can't see them that well from the outside because of my wheel design. Well these wheels have about 20,000 miles of brake dust on them and it was pretty nasty.
I went to work with a soft bristled brush and Wheel Brightener 4:1. It took a few applications and scrubbings to get this all off, but it was primarily just because there was such a thick layer of gunk caked on. I didn't take any pictures of the wheel dry because I was on a schedule and cleaning the wheel wasn't really on the top of my list at the time (I needed to finish my brakes!)
Enjoy
