    Re: Clean my tire...

I confess- I've been using up a case of Eagle One rim cleaner. When I clean my rims, the overspray and what's on the brush cleans them. I get all of the brown stuff, and they clean well- works for me right now I guess...

I am presently using Eimann Fabrik Tire Cleaner. It works well. I recently bought a bottle of Amazing Roll-Off, which I'm planning to use on my daughter's tires. They are really, really grungy.

I use the Meguiar's versa-angle tire brush, with which I am very happy.

I tend to use Super Degreaser on tires,

I looked at a bottle of WBW and it looked pretty intense. They said to use gloves, don't get on certain metals, don't get on paint, etc. I've never used it but have heard great things about it. Do you guys just go at it like any other wheel cleaner?

I spray maybe 7 sweeping sprays on a wet tire, then let it dwell for about 3.5 minutes. Then I agitate the tire with my wet tire brush and scrub away. Then I hose off the tire.

I don't find that it's any crazier than 4.1 APC or 3:1 Wheel Brightener.
I should, but dont use gloves or eye protection when using those chemicals. One doesn't want to breathe them in too much obviously, but I have gotten some in my eyes and so far so good .
Good to err on the side of safety though.
WBW is just as easy to use as the other cleaning supplies.

Westley's Bleche-Wite is a great tire cleaner. not for wheels or paint.
they do make it in half gallons and gallons, we have it at our store.

I must find out what store this is, and what country/part of the country! I certainly haven't seen it here in Northern California .

They do sell it by the gallon, but not all stores carry the gallon sizes.

In which section might the gallon-size WBW be?
The same section as the gallon Purple Power Degreaser maybe? Because I sure haven't seen it in any automotive aisles of the chain stores in my town .

I do that most of the time and it works out just fine? Though, I also tend not to load my tires up with a bunch of junk either...

ive tried simple green...it works pretty good but u gotta scrub hard..at least for my rims and tires...i used to have a bottle of meguiars hot rims all wheel cleaner which did work on my rims and tires...but now i use a tough cleaner/degreaser diluted at about 3:1..will take off the most heavy caked brake dust and gets the tires back to their ugly gray color, thats how i know it got cleaned hahaha

I just bought a gallon of Super Degreaser. Can I use that to clean my tires, with 10:1 dilution? Thanks!
