What?.So then i asked to order some #20"discontinued"you gotta be kidding me .They are now superseeded to #26.Luckily the warehouse had some bottles of #20 and i orderd a couple.
Why are they no longer avialable in canada. So if you live in canada and like this stuff get it while you can.
What I heard was #16 is being discontinued everywhere and not just in Canada, I just love the old nostalgic wax tin it comes in sort of like motor oil in a can and you have to use the plunge spout to open it !
You can still get #16 on online in Canada at http://www.eshine.ca/waxes.html ($20cdn a tin) and I have my own secret source here in Montreal for the #16.Last edited by EdT; Sep 24, 2004, 10:00 PM.

#16 and some other Meguiars products are being discontinued in Canada due to combustible materials not being permitted across our border. It was a new regulation that was passed recently. There are ways around it if the product is being transported across the border by truck. We bought every last tin in Canada! #16 is my personal favorite. I have often thought of keeping them all to my greedy selfLOL

Not true, since I have my own secret source here in Montreal !
I guess transporting gas-o-line across the border is not a combustible product ? ...dam bureaucrats !!!

Re: #16 & #20 in Canada!
I think Megs should really take a look at their Canadian distrubution. Hard to find product and reps that have no product knowlage make buying their producks a real chore. Maybe three warehouses located in the west. centeal canada, and east (maritimes) that stock all the products and can ship within Canada. Just a thought.Professional Automotive Reconditioning Services

wow this thread is really old!
I am pretty sure you can still get M20 in Canada. Go drive around and check your local Acklands and NAPA's. I think I might buy a tin soon, just because everyone wants it lol.Patrick Yu

Re: #16 & #20 in Canada!
#20 is not available in Canada in 16oz, however it is available in 64 oz. Just ask your local distributor for the product M2064. The reason 64oz is available and the 16oz isnt is becuase of a "loop hole" in the Canadian CCCR regulations. For a list of distributors please see www.meguiarscanada.com. Canadian Tire, Partsource and Wal Mart will not carry this item.
The M1611 is no longer available in the United States I was just informed of that last week. However a Canadian company called "e-shine" does have access to it through us. www.eshine.ca
As for "Canadian Guys" comment that it is hard to find our products and reps with knowledge you can find a list of our distributors at www.meguiarscanada.com and as for reps please advise me which reps you are referring to.

Re: #16 & #20 in Canada!
Oh, Canada!
Pretty soon, there will be Canadian detailers sneeking accross the boarder and smuggling Meguiar's products back to Canada.
We can't get #16 in the states. My understanding is that our benevolent government (the same government that almost shut down the 91 freeway in California because vehicles were smashing into endangered insects) has determined #16 had ingredients that were not entirely compatible with the ecosphere.
Try #21 instead of #20.
