I wouldn't get rid of the #66 yet. On really soft or marr prone paints it's still a winner IMO. I finally used #151 on some softer paint and it left just a touch of marring. #66 did the trick and ever though it doesn't leave quite the shine that #151 leaves the outcome was better in my book. I followed with a VERY quick coat of #21 to bring the gloss up a little.

For softer paints, I'll use 151 with a tan finishing pad and it has never left any marring on any vehicle that I've worked on. If all you have avaliable is a yellow polishing pad then I could see it happening.

I tried 151 on my Mustang yesterday and was thrilled with the results! I too will be ordering a gallon (instead of 66). The 151 removed some light swirls using a PC and a polishing pad, and left a beautiful finish. For anyone who details for money, this product is fantastic.

The great thing about 151 is the ability to control the cut with the type of pad used. Use a cutting pad and it can remove oxidation. Use a finishing pad and it cleans the paint and leaves a nice finish. A polishing pad will definitely remove swirls and finish up excellent

The new micro abrasive technology in 151 and 105 is simply incredible.

Isn't it meant to be stronger than #83?

What did you use and which pad?
In my opinion with a DC it seems stronger than #83 and works better! It does go on much easier and you can work it a long time and it doesn't gum up! Not to hijack the thread, but here is the link to the thread with my first experience with some pix.
