practical: how do you dilute your Hyperwash?

I know the rate is 1:400, but how do you do it, do you "predilute"?..
I was thinking of diluting 10:1 first, and then take it from there.
Hard to get the mix right straight in the bucket, i presume..

If my calculations are right 10ml for every gallon of water, this is how i use it. I have a measuring spoon for the 10ml of hyperwash then add a gallon of water for every spoon of hyperwash in a bucket.

Hyper comes with a pump. One pump per 5 gallon bucket.

Hyper comes with a pump. One pump per 5 gallon bucket.

I just fill up a bucket with 4.5 gallons of water ,take the gallon for Hyper Wash give it a pump and continue filling the bucket with water for the suds.

A full stroke of the pump is one ounce if my memory serves me. If you did not get the pump. I would suggest a cheap plastic measuring cup. Pour in a ounce and your set.

the gallons no longer come with a pump. i guess meguiars thinks they did something cool i dont know. hyperwash is dulted 400:1 right, they claim thats 1 ounce per gallon. well do the math, no its not. 400:1 is only about 3. why claim 1 oucne of hyperwash per 5 gallons of water, doesnt make sense. ive uesed hyperwash once and recieved horrible results.

I always get the pump with a gallon. And we use it with awesome results.

hyperwash is dulted 400:1 right, they claim thats 1 ounce per gallon.

1 ounce per gallon is 128:1, which is the dilution ratio for every other soap.

I do not have a bottle in front of me, but I doubt the instructions would be that far of....

Plus, no one fills a 5 gallon bucket to the top, so at most 4.5 gallons equals about 576 ounces of water, which gives about 1.5 ounces of soap at most. Using just one ounce or one pump seems close enough...

First off...lose the sarcastic tone as it is not something we at MOL will tolerate, thank you. I suggest strongly that you read the MOL Forum Rules.

Second, Meguiar's does not claim 1 oz per gallon [as you stated]. They 'suggest' 1 oz or 1 pump per 5 gallons and that is all that is needed. That does not mean it is less than a 400:1 concentration. Just because the bottle recommends 1 oz per 5 gallons does not mean that it is not a 400:1 ratio. It means you only need 1 pump per 5 gallons, but it can be stronger if you wish.

Third, the vast majority of people that have used Hyper Wash really like the product. What went wrong for you? Saying that you had horrible results does not say what happened so we therefore can not figure out if it was the product or user error.

Finally, please take a moment and proof read your posts. There are numerous spell check programs if you are having difficultly. We all make spelling errors, but we really try to keep MOL looking more professional.

yes your correct i did mess up on the one line, i was meaning to say ounce per 5 gallons of water which to me doesnt make sense so can you help me out with this. when i used the product its suds up a bit while filling, but using it on the car didnt go so well. it looked like i was just smearing water on the car.

NyQuil cups (comes with the medicine) are in ounces.

I use 1/2oz. per 2.5 gallons.

This stuff is crazy good! Foams like crazy and cleans as good as any wash.......even NXT.
