Re: practical: how do you dilute your Hyperwash?

I love Hyper-Wash, it gives me a very nice slick soapy solution without over foaming with just one full pump into my 5 gallon wash bucket. I fill to a known point on my bucket which is exactly 4.5 gallons.

Re: practical: how do you dilute your Hyperwash?

I've used NXT, Gold Class, Deep Crystal and Hyper Wash. I had to order a pump with my gallon container of Hyper Wash from ADS. Even so, I wouldn't want to dispense it any other way. The pump makes it so convenient. Fill the bucket, pump the pump and away you go. And for the record, I like Hyperwash very much. I've only had it about a month and was a loyal Gold Class user. Not sure the Hyper Wash is as slippery as the Gold Class but it works really well and it SOOOO much more economical. That's what sold me.

No..that means that they did not take the poll. It does not mean that no one likes it as you seem to imply. I can assure you, it is very popular. Keep in mind it is geared for professional use so the vast majority of people unless they visit this site probably have not even heard of it.

Re: practical: how do you dilute your Hyperwash?

I like the hyperwash, but it does seem a bit 'thin' at the recommended ratios.

5 gallons of water is 5 gallons...it has nothing to do with 'filling the bucket'.

I am going to try to increase my concentration by 50%.

It's true the pump is no longer included, yet they still reference pumps on the bottle because many still have them.

Some places still have old stock, some are including their own pumps.

I used the cup off a bottle of Gain, marked 30ml on it and just pour my hyperwash in that and put in it the bucket then add water.

Re: practical: how do you dilute your Hyperwash?

Best thing I bought was a one ounce measuring shot glass from Bed Bath and Beyond. It sits in my detailing bag

1 shot per 5 gallons for HW
5 shots per 5 gallons for Shampoo Plus.

Now, my foam gun, about 80% SP and 20% HW gives me a nice cutting foam.

30ml for 19 liters , so 5.9ml for every gallon (ugh, i hate maths)

Now I'm even more confused. I thought thats 128:1 ratio. 1 gallon (3.78 liter) to 1ounce (29.57ml) and always meant for S.Plus, #62, NXT and GC.

All the above washes you mention are 128:1. HyperWash...the Hyper meaning super-concentrated...is a 400:1 ratio.

Yeah you are right, you aren't confused. If 1 Gallon is 3.78L then if you would add 9.45mL of hyperwash per gallon of water, or 37.8mL for 4 gallons of water. I would add probably 40mL of hyperwash to a 5 gallon bucket of water, which would be filled to 4-4.5 gallons or 15.4-17.1L of water. You would achieve somewhere around 390:1 to 410:1 dilution.

Or even better, since everything across the pond is measured in SI units, just add 40mL of hyperwash to 16L of water and you have a perfect 400:1 dilution.
