quick question have a J plate sierra saphire and the bodywork is in really good shape for age only problem is the paint which is red is faded and when we tried polish to revive it after half an hour or so its back to faded red again. Any ideas on which product to use and fetch it back to its former glory.

There's a sleight chance it can be revived by using an effective paint cleaner if the product you used previously wasn't effective enough to actually clean the dead paint off the surface, hard to say without knowing what you used and how you used it.

Re: colour fade
hi i believe we tried a product called t- cut red colourfast, the paintwork is unbroken and has a white bloom to it which stands out against the original red paintwork. If there is a mequires product i can buy at the NEC show in birmingham to bring this car back to its original red colour this would be great. I couldnt download the pics i took of the car as sons run off with the camera.

Re: colour fade
The product with the most oils to try and restore the paint would be #7 Show Car Glaze.
Are you working by hand, or machine? You would want to clean the paint some first, even just working in the Deep Crystal Cleaner, or Scratch would be good. Then apply the #7, and see what happens.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue
