My 2005 Tacoma X-Runner. Its a blast to drive with the V6 and the 6 speed (its gotten me a couple speeding tickets in the six months I've owned it, I need to slow down ) . It also handles better than any truck should and better than many cars I've driven.

Great reflection on your door, what products have you been using to achive that fantastic crisp reflection and is the paint metallic?

What options does the X-Runner have in comparison to the other Yota Mid Size trucks? Is this the performance package truck?

It's not a pickup truck, but it does get completely cleaned, polished and waxed twice a year. Check it out:

                    Hi Rob66,

It's actually the tailgate that you are referring to, but none the less, I used DACP three months ago, then when I detailed recently, I used #9, #7, NXT x2 and topped with DC 3.

The paint is NOT metallic, that is why I top with DC 3. It tends to deaden that metallic "pop" when topped on a metallic finish.

Here's my original post for that detail....

                    three months of neglect...

I'm glad you liked my truck, and my paint!

Yes, it is the performance package truck. Every X-Runners come pretty much fully loaded- V6, 6-speed manual (no auto), 6 disc changer, upgraded interior (seats with lumbar support, etc). For the exterior get the body kit, 18" wheels, hood scoop, and color keyed bumpers. The suspension is upgraded as well, you get beefier front and rear sway bars, the rear portion of the frame has an 'X' cross brace (hence the name "X-Runner"), and and spring rates and shocks geared more towards handling. Its a whole lotta truck for the $23,800 sticker price.

It's the 5.3...However, I did put a Whipple Supercharger on it, so its pretty quick. I havent really done anything else to it, I want to keep it looking fairly stock, plus havent had a lot of time to play around yet.
